Installing RTC 3.0 standalone
Hello,
I have 2 questions regarding RTC install: 1) Can I install RTC 3.0 on an existing JTS? The download for RTC 3.0 contains both JTS and CCM app into one install. 2) If I cannot install RTC on an existing JTS, can I have 2 instances of JTS running on the same machine by using different ports? Do I need to update only the server.xml? which ports can I use beside 9080 and 9443 - Thank you all for your help. |

AFAIK, RTC is not installed on top of JTS. It is installed on top of an
AppServer and then it is configured the communications between JTS and CCM. You can install just CCM and connects to the existing JTS. Both, CCM and JTS can be in the same AppServer if you want. But make sure existing JTS is compatible with CCM 3.0 Regards, Chemi. On 3/2/2011 6:38 PM, zachary wrote: Hello, |
Hello,
What do you mean by installing just CCM? CCM is RTC 3.0 and one can only install Jazz Team Server and CCM Application together. Am i missing something? Thanks |

Hello, When you try to install RTC 3.0 you have different options: you can select both, so CCM and JTS are installed in the same server. Or you can select just one, CCM or JTS so you install them in different servers. Don't know if that was your question... |
Hello, The JTS as I know it doesn't has previous version. Version 2.x of RTC run on integrated server+application. So RTC isn't like a module installed as it is on version 3.0. But if you're talking about the new JazzTeamServer, I think yes, you can install only the CCM (rtc) on your current server. |
