Issue in exporting Team Capacity report to Excel

Deepa M S (71) | asked Jan 29, 2:13 a.m.

When Team Capacity report is exported to excel, its exports in .xls format. Report contains no data and throws an error

"The file format and extension of 'Report.xlx' dont match. The file could be corrupted or unsafe. Unless you trust its source, dont open it."

How to change the report format to .xlsx.

Thank you in advance

My take on it would be as follows:

  1. I doubt that you can change the generated file extension. Not sure.
  2. Rename the file manually
  3. Trust the file and let it be opened.

Thank you Ralph for the feedback. I changed the extension of file to ".xlsx" and tried to open but file does not open and throws the below error

"Excel cannot open the file because the file format or file extension is not valid. Verify that the file has not been corrupted and that the file extension matches the format of the file".
