Way move artifacts from one module to another without breaking the links

Pradeep Yaramati (11) | asked Apr 24 '23, 11:50 p.m.
Im new to RDNG world and learning part by part.

Can any one explain steps required to move artifacts from one module to another without breaking the links. The method should ensure that it (1) does not create broken incoming or outgoing links, (2) re-uses the base artifact and maintains the artifact IDs. Expanding on point #1, it should cover every kind of RM link, incoming links from other RM components and projects, and the validation link from QM. Note that for incoming RM links to the base artifact, a change set in the source artifact's stream should not be required, but if the link is to the module artifact, a change set would be required.

 Hi Pradeep,

You can use Paste Special option to reuse the artifacts and retain artifact links as well between modules. Please find the screenshot below and the documentation
