Hi Sreenath,
Just use the access controls on the OS file system.
You can set the folder where the RPE templates live to be read-only to everyone except the template authors.
RPE publisher only needs read access to the template in order to execute a publishing run so other user who are just publishing can still do what they need to do without edit access to the templates.

Password should not be saved as part of template as data would be pooled using that user credential. User should enter user credential at the run time. Comments

My question is different . If i dont want to give edit permission for a templates what can i do? |
