Adding New Items to the Change Requests Menu within Quality Manager 6.0.4

Richard Good (872861) | asked Jul 15 '19, 9:55 a.m.

 Hello,

I can't see an easy way to be able to add any different  work items and templates to the menu. Is there a mechanism for this? Out of the box menu has 3 entries: -

1) Work Items Home
2) Create Defect
3) Create Task

We wish to add to this, it looks like QM uses OSLC to get the data, feel like something in RTC needs to change to get what we want.

Any help appreciated.
Cheers
Richard

Hi Richard,
That is correct. QM uses the OSLC provider's capabilities to create these menu entries. There is no customization at this point to insert additional, or to change the menu entries to the 'Change Request' menu. Please note that however, you can hide static menus and/or menu entries from the manage project area page.

Please open an enhancement request if this not satisfactory.

OK, thanks for letting me know, I kind of expected that.
