Question about RTC build engine Hudson/Jenkins Engine

Narayanan Potti (27037679) | asked Feb 13 '19, 3:31 p.m.

Hi

I have RTC 6.0.4 integrated with Jenkins to execute builds using Hudson/Jenkins Engine.

I would like to know what request is sent from RTC to Jenkins to execute build. After enabling cross site scripting (CSRF) in Jenkins the RTC cannot trigger build job in Jenkins without crumb in REST API call. I wanted to know how to set crumb in RTC REST API call. If there's a way in RTC to run REST API with crumb that'll be very helpful. Please let me know.

Thanks

NP

"users have to use username/API token instead of username/password in accordance with Jenkins recommendation"

I have followed this process:

"The API token is available in your personal configuration page. Click your name on the top right corner on every page, then click "Configure" to see your API token. (The URL $root/me/configure is a good shortcut.) You can also change your API token from here."

Hi Narayanan,
This is known issue identified as Defect 493071: Error posting to Hudson/Jenkins job, no valid bread crumb was include. The current work on that is in progress.
Please let us know if that helps.
