Debugging the Jazz Web UI
Hi All,
I'm fairly new to Jazz web development so I hope this question makes sense..... When I debug my Jazz WebUI based application, I cannot figure out how to see the javascript for my pages/views in Firebug. I can see the javascript for my Application "class" but not for anything else. Any ideas? Thanks, Mark |

Hi Mark,
If you want to be able to step through your javascript code you can add debug=true to your URL. e.g http://localhost:8080/web/example?debug=true#action=jazz.viewPage&id=net.jazz.ajax.examples.TestPage1 This will result in a <script> tag for each module being added to the html page and should allow tools such as firebug to see the module and allow you to set break points etc. One caveat is that each javascript module is downloaded individually and thus the page will load slower. That worked GREAT. You're the Man, Mark |
