Required attributes for workflow state

Karen Steele (1.2k4139148) | asked Jun 21 '18, 2:43 p.m.

Is there a to stop an attribute from being inherited into the next workflow state.  Example

Workflow States

Open
In Progress
Transferred
Closed

Open can move to one of In Progress or to Transferred

The user has to set the owned by field if they move to In Progress - but if they move to Transferred Instead - Owned by is not mandatory - however, as Transferred is a state after In Progress - the owned by field is inherited into the lower state based on the Required Attributes for State operational behaviour ...

Is there a way to stop that ?

Hi Karen,
currently you cannot add dependencies to other attributes or attribute values with a DNG workflow.

I was not asking about DNG workflow .. I was asking about workflow states and required attributes in RTC
