Can no longer manipulate module rich text in Rational Publishing Engine

Robert Huet (23113984) | asked Jan 18 '18, 7:06 p.m.

In the past, I was able to update information in rich text using a Script expression in RPE.  Now, with DNG 6.0.2 and RPE 2.0.1, this no longer seems to be the case.  If I output a "div" from module content as a Data Expression in a Text object, the formatted output is displayed in the report.  However, if I reference the same "div" or "div._text" from a Script expression, RPE strips out all html formatting, and outputs only plain text to the report.

There are certain key values embedded in some of the module content that I need to strip out from the report.  However, i'm not finding any way to do that in this version of RPE.

Any ideas on how to do this will be much appreciated.

It works in latest version of RPE as well. You need to check "XHTML input" and "XHTML output" check boxes in the script expression dialog.

Ah, thanks!  I totally overlooked these checkboxes!
