CLM v6.x does not support WAS v9.x? Whaaat?
Hi. We have been doing a migration from Windows to Linux (rhel 7.3.7) on z and upgrading from CLM v5.x to CLM v6.0.3. All running on WAS v9.0.0.3. After several iterations we are very confident that 1, we can do the entire migration in about 6 hours and 2, have tested the heck out of it and it and everything runs great. As we are about to go to production this weekend, we asked an IBM support person to review our plan to move to production and he tells us that WAS v9.x is not supported and that we should use WAS v8.5... (This is the version we are migrating from ) Is anyone else out there running v6.0.x on WAS v9.x in production? Are you having any issues? Any advice? Note, we are not doing clustering. We do have CLM spread across 4 Linux servers, all working and talking great even under load...) |
One answer
The upcoming 6.0.4 appears to aim for WAS 8.5.5.11, and I can't even find a plan item mentioning the support for WAS 9.0.x. So it appears to be a long wait.

Can anyone comment on when certification of WAS v9.x is expected to happen?
