How to migrate from Tomcat to Websphere Liberty when using LDAPLocalGroup Realm

How can I migrate from Apache Tomcat to IBM Websphere Liberty when using LDAPLocalGroup Realm when using IBM Collaborate Lifecycle Management (CLM) products?

There is no direct method to switch and use LDAPLocalGroup Realm but there are two indirect options:

  • WORKAROIUND 1
    Write a script translating your csv file to the format used in basicUserRegistry.xml file.

  • WORKAROUND 2

    Write your own implementation according to Creating a custom user registry as a Liberty user feature document. Please notice that this is an extension and this part will be out  
    of support.
