DNG performance is bad after 5.x to 6.x upgrade

Tiffany Pei (139623) | asked Jan 10 '17, 10:09 a.m.

I have upgraded DOORS Next Generation from 5.0.2 to 6.0.2 last weekend.
I found that the performance is not very good.
What can I do to improve the performance?

In general, there are three things to check and consider after upgrading from DNG 5.x to DNG 6.x

1) There is an SQL Server specific problem related to a table that is intensively used in DNG 6.x, but was not used in DNG 5.x.
The AddTables command to create indexes related to this table cannot complete, due to a limitation of SQL Server.
For details on the workaround to create these indexes, please check the following technote and follow the instructions for SQL Server:

2) After upgrading, you need to run the database statistics command to update the database tables.

3) This is general DNG 6.0.2 performance considerations:
