DOORS NG 6 - no module baselining available
When will it be possible to baseline modules in DOORS 6?
Seems this was possible in DNG 5 - what was the reason for removing this basic end-user requirement? |

This is really problematic, the configuration management is relevant only in cases that each project area handles a specific product.
In many cases, customers choose to work on a one project area mode where all info and projects are managed in one area that leaves on.
In such cases the CM is unfortunately not relevant.
In any case i do not understand why the new capability replaces the old module baseline. modules, as they are documents need the ability have individual versioning and the ability to compare between versions(As in the regular DOORS).
This is a big issue for me...

This is due to the design change (the introduction of Configuration Management).

No. The function is now part of the Configuration Management, which is a separate component.

There are no more module baselines in RDNG 6.0 and 6.0.1. They are replaced by CM baselines. Configuration Management is a component separate from RDNG, but still in the same CLM offering.

If you mean a baseline for a single module, the answer is no. The baseline is for the whole project in the new version.
