Constraint Date vs Due Date

All,

In the Formal Process Template, what will the Constraint Date and Due Date give me? By that, something is due on 3/8. If I choose Due Date = 3/8, does RTC due something? If I choose Finish No Later than 3/8 for the Constraint fields, does RTC due something different?

I am not certain, but I think due date is simply a timestamp attribute that is used to store a due date for a work item, while constraint date (and type) are used in planning/scheduling. See links below for related information:
