We have an RTC (5.0.2 on Windows/Tomcat) WI query (maybe among others with same issue):

query Description

which would run on webUI anywhere (in-network or via VPN laptops, desktops, and on VDX) , and would run on Eclipse clients on desktops & laptops: but would generate an error when run on an Eclipse client (4.0.6 or 5.0.2) on a VDX (virtual desktop via Citrix Receiver).

URI has an authority component

Most queries running fine on client on VDX.

Thx Don,

Oops! commented before realizing that you had a second link, which hits the nail right on the head, and which we also found from the infos of your first link but after getting to the final resolution the hard way,    ...so have to correct the comment.

Duh! first thing, even before posting this question or working with user to debug, should have been google'ing the error message "Uri has an authority component"
