How do I find the component corresponding to file/folder in a sandbox
I'm trying to find which component is loaded in a sandbox. How can I obtain the component name for a specific file/folder in a sandbox? For instance, if component appComponent is loaded in the sandbox at appSandbox/app, how can I find which component is associated with appSandbox/app? This would be easy if a Base Folder was always created when the component was loaded but unfortunately I can't make that assumption. Thanks Mike |

One way I can think out is using "scm status" command line.
You can run commands below:
> cd appSandbox/app
> scm --show-uuid yes status --no-local-refresh
The command will list the component of the current directory and its uuid.

Subsequently, I've found that the scm status subcommand has been deprecated in favor of the the show status subcommand. The show status subcommand doesn't appear to be sensitive to the working directory and doesn't allow "appSandbox/app" to be specified explicitly as the value of the -d argument. The error says the directory "appSandbox/app" cannot be used as a shared root as it has a shared ancestor (appSandbox).

I don't have issue to use "scm show status" as below:
> cd appSandbox/app
> scm --show-uuid yes show status --no-local-refresh
What's the output you got?
