RTC: moving a database from one db vendor to another

Luca Martinucci (1.0k397112) | asked May 18 '15, 8:18 a.m.
Is it possibile to move Jazz databases (JTS, CCM, QM, RM) from one db vendor to another?
Specifically, I would like to move from SQLServer to Oracle.
I hope that this is possible using repotools.
Are there any caveats, tips, etc?
I am working with Jazz 4.0.6, but I plan to move soon to 5.0.2.
Thanks.

This is explained in the online manual for RTC: https://www-01.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/api/content/SSYMRC_5.0.2/com.ibm.jazz.install.doc/topics/c_migrate_overview.html you need to
  1. Use the repotools to export the DB(s)
  2. Connect to the new DB
  3. Use the repotools to import the DB(s)
