Why does attribute presentation think this is Enumeration List when it's not ?

RTC 4.0.7.   User adds an enumeration and enumeration attribute to a work item type, synchronizes work items but presentation for the attribute insists on making the presentation one of the types for Enumeration List attribute.  I have verified the attribute in question looks correct in the Process (Process Source) Configuration.

<customAttribute id="com.ibm.attr.customer_commit_Installed_OnSite" name="Installed OnSite" type="Installed OnSite"/>
...
<attributeDefinition id="com.ibm.attr.customer_commit_Installed_OnSite" name="Installed OnSite" type="Installed OnSite"/>
....
<presentation attributeId="com.ibm.attr.customer_commit.Status_Colour" kind="com.ibm.team.workitem.kind.enumeration"/>
<presentation attributeId="com.ibm.attr.customer_commit.Associated_RFE" kind="com.ibm.team.workitem.kind.string"/>
<presentation attributeId="com.ibm.attr.customer_commit_Installed_OnSite" kind="com.ibm.team.workitem.kind.enumeration"/>
...
 <enumeration attributeTypeId="Installed OnSite" name="Installed OnSite">
<literal icon="processattachment:/enumeration/green.gif" id="Installed OnSite.literal.l1" name="Yes"/>
 <literal default="true" icon="processattachment:/enumeration/red.gif" id="Installed OnSite.literal.l2" name="No"/>
<literal icon="processattachment:/enumeration/normal.gif" id="Installed OnSite.literal.l3" name="In Progress"/>
</enumeration>

In the Eclipse UI the Presentation will show as flagged with red x.  In WebUI the presentation type ( editing the presentation ) shows the expected Enumeration / Radio.  Eclipse UI shows Picker list, check box group.

Eclipse UI does not show the attribute in the presentation and WebUI will show "Retrieving...." when the attribute pulldown is activated.

This problem only happens in Web client and in some unique use case only. When you create an enumeration list attribute(or wrongly select enumeration list) and then delete it(not save here) and create enumeration type of attribute with the same ID, web client will allow that happen(which is a defect) and you will then start to see the results you described above.
This defect has been fixed in v5.0.2:

Thank you, Don.   I suggested that the attribute/enumeration be dropped and recreated ( new IDs of course ).  My user reports that has resolved the concern.

Not sure how this came into place but the enumeration definition looks wrong - the Id should not have a space in it. If you try to add it step by step in RTC, you should get an error complaining about this. Since it is all messed up now, you cannot "fix" it rather than remove it and add a new one instead.
