RQM:How to create a category in RQM as a simple text field
Hi,
I am trying to create a new Category. Navigated to Construction->Browse->TestCases and I clicked on the icon "Manage Test Case Categories". Issue:- But whenever I create a category,it always appears as dropdown list. Why is it so? Cant I just create a category which is a simple text field where user can enter any value and not required to select a value from a dropdown? Thanks! |

Based on your description, you should create a custom attribute instead of a category. An attribute works like a category, but instead of a drop down list, it is a free form text box.
