How to link Requirements from MSExcel to RQM in CLM.

In RQM 2.0 we have seen there is an option to upload requirements directly from excel to RQM itself.

With the CLM 301 onwards the requirments are handled seperately in RRC.

Question is

If we want to link test case in RQM with requirements in RM using excel upload

what are the steps and pre-requisite for the same.

In RM, in which category the new requirements will get inserted, Will it be considered as Use case?

Anoop,

I do not believe the RM import functionality has the ability to link artifacts across applications. Someone from the RM team may be able to provide additional information on the import capabilities in RM

In RQM however, you can use the Excel/Word import tool

https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/RQMExcelWordImporter

The linking of requirements (RM) was introduced in version 4.0 of the tool and further advanced in version 4.0.1

This may be an option for you if you running CLM 4.x

There is an example of the import and linking process in the URL above
